VTuber Kureha Kurono Collabs With TNC.Bok

Virtual YouTubers, often shortened to VTubers, are content creators and live-streamers who use a virtual avatar mimicking their movement with motion capture technology.
In a Twitter announcement by VTuber Kureha Kurono, she announced that she will be having a collaboration with Filipino/Japanese Jun “Bok” Kanehara, a professional Dota 2 player currently playing offlane for TNC Predator. The collaboration is scheduled to be on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at 9PM Philippine Time. It will be streamed on Kureha’s YouTube channel, and aside from playing Dota 2 together, she has also said that there would be an interview with Bok.

Fans should look forward to “fun chatting with Kureha and Bok,” Kureha told Esports Inquirer. According to her, she is curious about Bok’s life as a pro player in the Philippines and SEA as a whole. Although this will not be the first time Kureha has played Dota 2, she is still fairly new to the game so her topics with Bok will be good for new players.

Bandai Namco announced the Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris free update series “Ancient Apostles,” as well as the game’s first paid expansion “Blooming of Forget-Me-Not” (“Myosotis” in Japan) and the return of the Sword Art Online game series’ original heroines at Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online.
The first “Ancient Apostles” updates will arrive this winter, with updates two, three, and four to follow in sequence. Following the fourth update, additional update series are also planned.

A legend about an archer who fell into forbidden love with a divine beast.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi (Redo of Healer), o como también se le conoce en Japón: Kaiyari, es un anime que causa cada vez más controversias. Están quienes lo apoyan, y quienes están en contra, pero de algo estamos seguros: se está hablando de ella. Y es que este tipo de animes buscan provocar, generar toda clase de opiniones, pero sobre todo: causar curiosidad.
Kaiyari es una historia que comienza con algo que hace que la línea de la historia se mantenga interesante y creativa, hasta que después cae en algo similar a la locura. Con apenas tres capítulos emitidos, todo tipo de opiniones se han manifestado al respecto, pero de nada sirve cuestionar o boicotearlo, pues la popularidad de este solo parece incrementar.

Keyaru, el protagonista de la historia, usa tres nombres distintos, y estos son similares a los hechizos curativos de la franquicia de videojuegos Final Fantasy. Así mismo, los dos nombres de Flare tienen un significado especial. Estos son:
Keyaru (ケ ヤ ル) – simirlar a Cure
(ケ ヤ ル) – simirlar a Keyagura (ケ ヤ ルガ) – similar a Curaga
(ケ ヤ ルガ) – similar a Keyarura (ケ ヤ ル ラ) – Healing ; este siendo el nombre femenino para disfrazarse.

- Fue todo un reto escribir el Opening
Minami Kuribayashi (quién ha interpretado temas para series como High School o School Days), reveló que fue todo un reto escribir la canción del Opening para el anime. Pues se trata de algo a lo que no está acostumbrada, y que, aunque se emocionó por poder trabajar en el proyecto, al ver el contexto de este, se dio cuenta de que pareciese «no haber salvación» allí.
Así mismo, admitió que es la primera vez que se involucra en un proyecto con temas tan fuertes y oscuros. Sin embargo, esto le brindó la oportunidad de experimentar nuevas formas de expresarse. Así que se trata de la primera canción en la que cree que no hay ni una pequeña chispa de luz entre la oscuridad. Recordemos que el tema se llama « Cruel Dreams and Sleep» (Sueños crueles y dormir).
- Kaiyari no ha sido bien valorada por la crítica
En el espacio de revisión de Winter 2021 Preview Guide, en el sitio web de ANN, la serie recibió críticas negativas. Esto debido a la «violación por venganza» que se repite varias veces en la historia. Como consecuencia, definieron como mediocre el trabajo de escribir, producir y dirigir el anime. Se menciona especialmente que es «una historia que se basa en darle al protagonista una base moral para justificar su horror general».
También se criticó su escenario inspirado en los juegos de rol «genéricos» de fantasía, similar otros isekais existentes.
- Tiene un programa de radio

Como muchos otros animes, Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi cuenta con un programa de radio web en el que los seiyuus que dan vida a Keyaru y Flare participan. Esta se transmite en la estación de radio por internet Otoizumi todos los viernes desde que se estrenó el anime.
- El éxito que ha tenido su novela ligera
Recordemos que el anime está basado en las novelas ligeras escritas por Rui Tsukiyo e ilustradas por Shiokonbu. Estas se serializan desde diciembre de 2016, primero a través del sitio Shōsetsuka ni Narō, hasta que Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko adquirió los derechos de esta. Se estima que las novelas ligeras ya superan los 1.7 millones de copias en circulación.
Así mismo, luego de su publicación en el sitio de Shōsetsuka, la novela ganó el primer lugar en rankings diarios semanales y mensuales. Sin embargo, este fue eliminado de la página en diciembre de 2019 por el propio Tsukiyo debido a que encontró difícil realizar cambios al contenido fuerte clasificado para adultos.
- Hay 3 versiones distintas del anime
Como leíste, Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi se emite en dos versiones distintas: con y sin censura. No obstante, buscando en su página de Wikipiedia, se puede leer que existe una versión alternativa. La antes mencionada (censurada), la «Redo» (exclusiva para streaming) y la versión sin censura titulada «Full Recovery«. En Japón se transmite la versión censurada en el horario estándar (23:00 hrs) y la «Full Recovery» en la madrugada (4:00am) por AT-X.
- Las diferencias entre la novela ligera, el manga y el anime
Como ocurre en la mayor parte de las historias cuando son adaptadas al manga o al anime, Kaifuku no es la excepción al sufrir cambios. El manga y el anime son casi similares en ritmo, sin embargo, en el manga se realiza una mejor caracterización del protagonista. Es por esto que se entiende mejor el por qué Keyaru es tan despreciable y hábil. Así mismo, en la novela ligera no se describe al personaje con el «atractivo» con el que fue diseñado para el manga y anime.
Esto sin contar que en la adaptación al anime, se rebuscaron y omitieron algunos datos de la historia de Keyaru antes de tomar venganza, por lo que aquí, se reduce la motivación de sus actos a: «fue abusado, hizo algo completamente de la nada y por eso fue en busca de una ola de violencia y venganza.» Cabe destacar que las novelas ligeras son las más completas, y por lo tanto, las más recomendables si se desea conocer la historia a fondo.
- A pesar de las críticas, es uno de los animes más vistos
A través de su cuenta de Twitter, el anime anunció que antes de lanzar su tercer episodio, Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi lideró el ranking en AT-X por dos semanas consecutivas. Esto nos lleva a comprender que, a pesar de las críticas y quejas sobre el anime, la curiosidad e interés de los espectadores es mucho más grande. Esto la ha convertido en un anime bastante popular, pero polémico.

The Anime Adaptation of Redo Of Healer ( Kaifuku Jutsushi No Yarinaoshi) has been announced to begin airing in January of 2021 and will be handled by Studio TNK. The Anime series will be premiering on Tokyo MX and AT-X. The Official Website has also released the Anime’s first Promo Video and the Key Visual.

Written by Rui Tsukiyo and Illustrated by Shiokonbu, Redo Of Healer is a Japanese Light Novel Series that was first published back in 2016 on the website Shōsetsuka Ni Naro. Kadokawa Shoten then picked up the Light Novel in 2017, and since then, a total of 6 volumes have been released, with many more to come.
